| ....First day at High Impact Games LLC.
Really chill. They just moved in this new office which is like a 10
minute tram ride to Universal Studios; once a week the guys will go
have lunch there. Before lunch they had me playing the game, getting
the feel for it and so on. Then after lunch I was flooded with all hte
paperwork. Form and form, all the benefits, direct deposit,
application, NDA, etc. Then we went out for coffee; Starbucks, whoot.
When we got back I was handed my first task...wayyy easy. hehe
The guys are really cool here, they are very artistic and alot of them
are doing their own projects outside of work. Very inspirational guys;
they focus alot on the art. One guy is doing a 2d animated short,
another guy is doing 3d short, and another dude is working on a stop
motion short. So they just don't work with one form of art, htey do the
whole spectrum; sculptures, gouche, etc. Awesome group of
artists/animators.
At other places, after work they don't even like to touch computers,
let alone do anything that reminds them of work, but for these guys,
art is their job and hobby.
Anyways....Hope all is doing well! Laters.
PS. It's funny how before I had a job no one needed me for anything,
and now that I get one, I feel like my schedule is packed. hehe
The way of life.
